Mabel and Daisy (GA) - Courtesy Post

Mabel and Daisy (GA)
Mabel and Daisy are looking for a loving forever family. Mabel(Liver) is 6 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. It’s unknown if she is a full German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) or a mix. Daisy(white and liver) is 2 years old and a petite 45 lbs of pure GSP love.

Both girls are spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Mabel has a small benign fatty lump on her side and back, but her veterinarian has confirmed it is nothing to worry about.

Like most GSPs, both dogs are high-energy with a strong prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is required. They are currently housed in an outdoor kennel and have not lived inside for some time. Mabel is crate trained, but Daisy experiences crate anxiety.

Mabel can be timid and is afraid of loud noises. She may take a little time to warm up to new people. Daisy is playful, outgoing, and loves being around people, though she may jump when excited.

These girls would thrive with an active family and a securely fenced yard where they can safely run and burn off their energy.

The hope is for Mabel and Daisy to remain together, as they have formed a strong bond since Daisy joined the family. However, their owners may consider separating them for the perfect homes.

If you believe you can provide Mabel and Daisy with the loving forever home they deserve, please contact their owner, Jessica, at 770-846-0849. A rehoming fee will apply to help ensure they are placed in caring, responsible homes.

Meet Your New Best Friend: The Loyal & Sweet Little Bit
3-Year-Old | Black & White GSP | Spayed & Fully Vetted
The Story of a Heart of Gold:
Found waiting patiently at dollar general off Old Highway 85 in Coweta County, this beautiful girl sat exactly where she was left, hoping her people would return. After a community effort and a stay at Coweta County Animal Control, it became clear she was ready for a fresh start. Royal Animal Refuge stepped in to save her, and she has been thriving in her foster home ever since!
Personality & Traits:
  • The Ultimate Sidekick: She is a true "Velcro dog" who just wants to be near her people. If you’re looking for a shadow, she’s your girl!
  • Emotional Support Treasures: She is rarely seen without an "emotional support item"—whether it’s a toy, a ball, or even a favorite pinecone.
  • Wiggle-Butt Extraordinaire: She wags her tail so ferociously her whole body moves, and she’ll "talk" to you to tell you how happy she is to see you!
  • Social Butterfly: She is very dog-friendly! She gets so excited she’ll give her doggy friends face licks. She is especially patient and sweet with puppies.
The Ideal Home:
She is a smart, well-behaved girl who is already potty trained and crate trained. Because of her loyal nature, she can be protective of her "safe spots" (like the couch or her food bowl) when other dogs are around. Her perfect family will:
  • Use her crate for mealtimes and sleeping—she loves her "den" and it helps her feel secure!
  • Understand her "guard dog" instincts and help her maintain healthy boundaries with other pets.
  • Give her plenty of love, toys to carry, and a spot by their side.
Ready to meet your new shadow?
Check out her full profile and apply to adopt through the Royal Animal Refuge Adoption Application.
