🐾❤️ MEET GRANNIE & ELLIE — TWO BEAUTIFUL GSP GIRLS LOOKING FOR FOREVER HOMES ❤️🐾
Their story started sadly. When their family moved away, Grannie (Right) and her daughter, Ellie(left), were left behind at an abandoned house. Thankfully, they were rescued in August 2025 and have been safe ever since.
Now these two sweet girls are ready for the next chapter of their lives — loving forever homes of their own.
⭐ IMPORTANT: Grannie and Ellie do NOT have to be adopted together. They can be adopted separately, and we want to find the right home or homes for them.
🐶 GRANNIE
6–8 years old | Approximately 50 lbs | Female GSP | Spayed
Grannie is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate girl with a gorgeous GSP gait. She is the kind of dog who seems like she could fit into just about any loving home.
💗 Grannie is:

• Extremely sweet and affectionate
• Great with dogs
• Great with children
• Friendly with strangers
• House-trained
• Well-mannered
• No bite history
• Comfortable around loud noises

Grannie is actually quite accustomed to noise. She spends time in a cabinet shop where she hears saws, nail guns, and other loud equipment, and they don't bother her at all.
Thunderstorms are a different story — Grannie is afraid of thunder, although other loud noises don't seem to concern her.
She initially chased the cat and chickens after arriving at her foster home, but she has become accustomed to them and now generally ignores them.
Grannie recently had a large tumor removed and has recovered beautifully. She does have very worn teeth, so her food needs to be soaked before she eats. Her rescuer can provide her veterinary records.
🏡 Grannie's ideal home:
Her foster family believes Grannie could be happy in just about any loving situation. She is an easygoing, affectionate girl who simply deserves to be spoiled after everything she has been through.
🐕 ELLIE
Approximately 4–5 years old | Female GSP | Spayed
Ellie is Grannie's daughter and is just as sweet as her mama.
💗 Ellie is:

• Extremely sweet and loving
• Great with dogs
• Great with children
• Well-mannered
• No bite history
• Not formally obedience trained
• Looking for a home where she can be close to her people

Ellie's biggest challenge is thunderstorms. She is extremely frightened by thunder and can become almost inconsolable. She has a ThunderShirt, earmuffs, and medication to help her through storms. Being close to her person helps her tremendously.
Ellie would do best in a home without cats. She previously chased chickens but has become accustomed to them and now generally ignores them.

Grannie and Ellie have already experienced the heartbreak of being abandoned. They don't need to be adopted together — what matters most is that each one finds a safe, loving home where she will never be left behind again.
