McDonna (in Piedmont, AL) needs a hero. 💛 Please take a moment to read her story, share her story, and help her find the forever home she deserves.
McDonna has been at the Angel Paws Rescue in Alabama since mid-2025. She was once a stray, surviving on scraps from McDonald’s — which is how she got her name. Despite that rough start, this beautiful girl is only 2 years old and has already raised a litter of seven puppies. Now it’s her turn to be cared for.
She is:
• Sweet and affectionate
• Healthy
• Great with other dogs
• Wonderful with all humans
• An adventure lover — especially if there’s water involved! 🌊
She is currently at the rescue, but unfortunately they are so full that she is not able to be housed inside. She is in a 10x10 kennel and is scared of crates, but does well in the run outside.
This girl has done everything right. She survived. She raised her babies. She trusts people. Now she just needs someone to choose her.
