Dolly - FL

6/16/2023

Picture
Dolly needs a new forever home.  She was picked up as a stray and no one claimed her.  She is currently being fostered through Rest Your Paws Refuge in Tallahassee, FL.  Unfortunately, she is HW+ and going through slow-kill heartworm treatment.  Not quite sure of her exact age, thinking 2-4 years old.
Dolly is a super sweet girl and is your typical velcro GSP.  She likes her person and is very loyal to them. She can be a bit timid around some men, but loves to sunbathe and go for long walks.

She was in a dog fight while on the street, so she may need time with other dogs, but definitely does not like cats, probably a home where she is the only pet is best.
She is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She is good with baths and nail trimmings and is eating 3 times a day to get her back to a healthy weight, she is currently 48 lbs. Rescue has her adoption fee set at $200.
If you can give Dolly a forever home, please contact.
