Maverick - AL

9/7/2023

Picture
Hi folks, my name is Maverick.  My owner abandoned me and left me with my grandmom, who is great, but she can’t give me what I need and crave. Let me explain…

I’m 2 years old, neutered, up to date on my vaccinations and I’m an all-around great catch.  I have typical young GSP energy (but can easily chill inside in AC), so I’d love a family that has a fenced yard to safely play in, a young canine sibling to play with, and humans that spend time with me, give me additional training (I’m super smart) and supply lots of hugs, belly rubs and adventures.

Ask my grandmom, but I can tell you I’m very sweet and I want to be next to my favorite person all the time (hopefully you)! I don’t know about cats, but I’d love a canine sibling to play with when you’re worn out.  I’m house-trained if you can get the door open for me (I want to live indoors with you and I know how to use a dog door if you have one).

My grandmom works a LOT, so she feels that I deserve, what she calls normalcy. I’m not sure what that is, but I sure would love some adventures (did I say that already)! I love to run and jump in the backyard (which is large and fenced – did I mention I’d like that in my new home?). But even though I love the backyard, I’m really an inside baby (my grandmom’s term…I’m not really a baby anymore).

I LOVE car rides and the dog park.   Unfortunately, with my grandmom’s schedule she rarely gets to give him those luxuries very often. Oh, and I really love treats and loving!! LOTS of loving!

I promise I will be a wonderful pet and companion for someone with a normal schedule (that loves me as much as grandmom does).  I’m currently in Daphne, AL (maybe you want to meet me first?).  Please call my grandmom Donna at 251-607-8800 and let her know you’re interested.

P.S. My grandmom wants to make sure I’m going to a family that is dedicated to taking care of me, so she is asking for a rehoming fee of $150. She would also like to know who your vet is so she can call them for a reference.
