My name is Adam, we are looking to re-home or find a foster home for our puppy.  She is half GSP and half black lab (unregistered) mix. Her mom was a black lab and her dad was the GSP. She is all black, with a white spot on her chest and shows all the features of a GSP. She looks like an all black GSP but with her full tail.

She is very happy, sweet, kind, and playful. She is great with kids and enjoys getting to play with them, she is great with my 3 year old son. She also loves playing with other dogs of all sizes, she is great with both large and small dogs. She is in no way defensive of toys or food when other dogs or people are around, and my son has helped me to feed her often and will many times per her and be very close to her when she eats and she has shown no signs of being defensive in anyway with him. She really enjoys attention, getting pet, and walking around with me on our property.  She isn't big on fetch but just enjoys getting to be around us and being a part of things that we do outside. She occasionally will dig, but has not done so in a couple months, she doesn't jump up on anybody, but will occasionally bounce up and down when she sees you.

She is both crate trained and house broken, but for the last few months she has been an outdoor dog, we still at times during the day will keep her in a crate when we leave and at night she sleeps in a crate as well. She would easily transition back indoors and is able to hold her bladder for overnight very easily. She is also trained in basic commands, she know sit, come, stay, and her release word from stay is "free".  Also when we feed her we have her sit and wait and then release her to eat once her food has been put out and she makes eye contact with us to await her release command. Because of her younger age, as well as not having the need too (because I live on 17 acres of land) Valkryie has had no leash training. When we walk around outside she follows and doesn't get to far off and knows to stay closer while she is with you.

The only other animals she has been around are dogs. I'm not sure how she would be around cats, but based on her temperament, she would most likely be okay and would probably try to play with a cat. She has no health issues, she is not spayed, she is not microchipped, and she also has not had a recent heartworm check.

When people come up or drive up to our house she does bark to let us know someone has arrived, but she doesn't show any signs of aggression towards, and anyone she has barked at she walks up to be pet by them. But has never had any aggression issues with anyone. The perfect home for he would be a place where she could hangout, play with you and other dogs when she isn't sleeping, and can just hangout with you or kids if you have any. She is laid back, and relaxed just likes to hangout and be a part of the family.

Unfortunately with my new job, and the birth of my second child we haven't been able to give her the time and attention she deserves. As well as my first dog is occasionally aggressive towards Valkryie, which is in no way because of what Valkyrie's doing. She will make a great family pet for any family big or small!

If you're interested in Valkryie, my email is adamsobieraj@yahoo.com.  The best way to contact me is by email as I work different shifts.

Thank you!
