Hi, I’m Bailey

I’m a 5‑year‑old female GSP, on the small side at about 40 pounds, and people keep telling me I’m “tiny and loving”… which feels accurate, but I would add "pretty" to that description.

I’ve been hanging out in foster care and I’ve gotten pretty good at the whole “cozy house dog” thing. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and my crate is my safe little retreat. I don’t mind chilling there when needed.

When it comes to other dogs, I do just fine! I especially enjoy watching my foster siblings play in the backyard. I’ll join in sometimes, but honestly? I prefer to sit back and supervise. Think chill with a side of sass. I like my space and can be a bit territorial, but I communicate clearly and do best with respectful dog friends. Cats are okay too, as long as they remind me who’s boss LOL!

I can be a little shy at first, but if you’re willing to snuggle me, we’ll be best friends in no time. I absolutely love to cuddle and stay close to my people (like REALLY cuddle, not a quick squeeze). If you’re on the couch, I’d like to be near you. If you’re in another room, I’ll probably follow.  I'm a true GSP Velcro pup!

I know the commands sit and down, and I’m eager to keep learning... you see, I'm super smart and want to please you. Walks are something I’m still working on, I could use a little help with leash manners, but I promise I’m trying my best. So I recommend taking me for lots of walks so I can practice that "leash" thing (wink, wink).

I’d be happiest in a home with a big, fenced yard where I have space to run and run and run. My favorite toys are bones I can chew on, and my favorite activity is just being with you. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm, affectionate little girl who will steal your heart, I might be your perfect match.

I am UTD on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped so my adoption fee is $375. If you haven’t already, please fill out an adoption application and email my foster dad Paden at [email protected]

Love,
Bailey
