Meet Jet! Jet is a one-year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer with all the energy, intelligence, and goofy charm this wonderful breed is known for. He’s fantastic with other dogs and loves to play, making him a great fit for a home with canine companions. Jet is tolerant of cats, but he’s far too interested in pestering them, so a cat-free home is best.
Jet is both crate trained and potty trained. He settles nicely when crated and has great indoor manners for a young GSP. He already knows sit, and we’re actively working on leash manners, come, and stay. He’s smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn with consistent, positive guidance.
Like many GSPs, Jet is athletic, curious, and always ready for his next adventure. He’s also an escape artist, so he requires a secure, well-maintained fenced yard and an adopter who understands his breed’s love of exploration. Jet will thrive in an active home that can keep both his body and mind busy with exercise, enrichment, training, and structure.
An experienced GSP owner who appreciates the breed’s drive, intelligence, and playful personality would be an ideal match for Jet.
