Briar has finally found his forever home! He had been ready to move in with his new family awhile ago when they had house damage and his adoption date was moved. But it’s here! He’s home! Briar is happy and will be…forever! A huge thank you to our longtime volunteer Donna and her family who has fostered Briar for almost a year. And congratulations to Briar and the Beilfuss family!
Reba had her meeting with her potential canine sibling Wednesday and per her foster Mom Tanya “tails were wagging, butts were sniffed and all was well.” YAY! So it was finalized yesterday, despite the Florida storms – Reba is adopted! Thank you to Tanya and Matt for fostering Reba and finding her perfect forever home (Reba looks so happy). Congratulations to Reba and the Zuazo family!
Vintane, aka Vinny (on right), has found her place in the world…right where she is with her foster family, now forever family!
She’s only a pup but her short life has been sad until now. She was in a rescue at only a couple months old, adopted, then dumped outside of a shelter by her new owner – thankfully someone brought her inside. But her sad days are over - forever!
Congratulations to Vinny and the Janack family – it’s a happy day!
Gunther has finally found his forever-forever home! Congratulations to the

own facebook page to celebrate their life together…how sweet. A HUGE thank
you to his foster Mom Alicia for helping him heal from heartworms, teaching
Ernie that the world is a wonderful, safe place and finding his forever
home. We’ve been told Ernie has his own toy bin, a funky new collar, a bark
box subscription and most importantly lots and lots of love. Good luck
Ernie - Enjoy your new humans and your sister, Kimber!!
Congrats to the Jackson family! Check out Ernie and Kimber’s facebook

It sometimes takes a village – but Bo is home. Congratulations to Bo and the Olson family!

Thank you to her dedicated foster Mom Liz for helping Lily through her heartworm treatment (not an easy task). Congrats to everyone – Lily is a real gem!
Tammy, now Pepper, has found her forever home! She will have a GSP sibling named Hudson and Indy a cat (they were camera shy). Hudson already has a ton of doggie friends he meets up with for walks and play dates so Pepper is looking forward to making new friends. Our Georgia Dottie has found her forever home! Dottie has been in foster care for the last 4 months while she underwent heartworm treatment, but today she went to her forever home with the Tovey family. She’ll have lots of land to chase squirrels and birds, and have all the attention she could ever want from folks who have been raising GSPs for 50 years. There were smiles all around today! A huge thank you to her foster Mom Kim and congratulations to Dottie and her new family!
After a long search, Talbot has chosen his forever home! Katie and Anthony Blount recently lost their GSP (also a SEGSP Rescue alumnus) to cancer, and they’re ready to take on a bit of adorable mayhem to help fill that enormous void. Talbot says, “Challenge accepted!” No doubt this sweet, special boy with the cutest little howl (“Roooooo!”) will be spoiled and loved beyond measure. Congratulations, little dude, on your next big (forever!) adventure! Thank you Cathy for fostering him and Asher for coordinating the adoption.
Oatmeal is home! His foster family just can’t part with him and he feels the same. He’s a grumpy old man when it comes to change so the fact that he fit in immediately was everyone’s clue that this was his home. He wouldn’t have made it this far of course without his former foster family helping him through heartworm treatment – thank you Donna and Pat! And congratulations to Oatmeal and the Arrowood family (including his new brother JP) – it’s a very happy day!
Darling has found her forever home! She started her life out as part of a hunt club and was used for breeding for 10 years. Her wonderful foster Mom Jamy picked her up and gave her what was probably her very first bath and first real affection. She had recently had puppies and had marks from a shock collar that had been on her a very long time.
But that life is behind her…her foster family has fallen in love and has decided she belongs in their family – so Darling is home! Congratulations to Darling and the Dingler family (left to right - Darling, Ginger, Tucker, and Alum Cooper – her new siblings).
Byrd has found his forever home!

And to top it off, her new home has a pool to swim in. She spent a Happy Mother's/Dog Mom Day in the pool and was totally exhausted at the end of the weekend! Congratulations to Lacey and the Rothburd family!
