SEWE Raffle Donations Needed – Please help us if you can. Southeast German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue will have a raffle booth at the Southeastern Wildlife Expo (SEWE), February 13–15, and we urgently need raffle donations to make this fundraiser a success.
 
If you’ve been considering donating but haven’t yet, please visit our Chewy Wishlist (https://www.chewy.com/g/southeast-german-shorthaired-pointer-rescue_b120602728#wish-list&wishlistsortby=DEFAULT) and consider donating one of the listed items (all donated items will go directly into the raffle), or purchase an Amazon or Chewy gift card, which allows us to secure much-needed raffle items (Amazon eGift card email: [email protected]).
 
Our raffle booth is one of the ways we use to raise funds to save GSPs in our rescue.  The funds from the raffle help cover expenses like medical care and everything it takes to give these dogs a true second chance. Without strong raffle items, we simply cannot raise the support our dogs depend on. We want this year to be our best year yet, but we can’t do it without help.
 
Every donation, big or small, directly supports GSPs in rescue and helps us continue this life-saving work. Our dogs are counting on SEGSP and on our community to show up for them.

Remember Truman?  Truman came to rescue in 2019 with advanced heartworm disease and a mast cell tumor and tragically died 3 months into his rescue journey.

Well, we have exciting news... Truman’s dad David started a handcrafted pet bed company in his honor called Truman and Teddy (https://trumanandteddy.com) and is offering a 15% discount to our supporters (plus 20% of the proceeds excluding shipping contributed to SEGSP) for every dog bed purchased.

Truman was officially adopted by David and his family shortly before his death and it was important to them that even though Truman may never know or realize it, that Truman had a permanent family when his soul left this earth.  Teddy joined the family after Truman passed away, joining SEGSP alumni Hank and Buddy.
