Frankie

2/9/2021

Frankie (aka Frack) is now a working pup (and his smile speaks volumes)!  Like a human, he had an interview for the job with Florida Wildlife Commission and passed with flying colors. So Frankie has officially been accepted into their training program, working with the South Region K-9 Trainer, and will have a new home with his handler, his new dad and boss.  Frankie was having some adjustment issues in rescue however our State Coordinator recognized he may be an awesome working dog, so contacted FWC.  He now has an awesome life ahead of him with a wonderful purpose.  Thank you to his foster mom Beth for all the work she did with Frankie and thank you to our Florida State Coordinator Dorothy for brokering this awesome adoption. It’s a happy day in Florida!

Nova

2/5/2021

Nova is on top of the world at her foster home that she’s decided to stay. Forever!  After 4 very long months of heartworm treatment she fell in love and vice versa – even her GSP sibling Ari is in love with Nova. Congratulations to the Thomas family (and Nova of course)!  It’s a happy day indeed!
