Luke Adopted April 2019

4/28/2019

Luke in FL has found his forever home!

His foster Mom Stephanie said Luke has hit jackpot with the LaPine family and he's doing great in his new home. He has a pool and lake to swim in, a canine sister to show him the ropes, a human teenage sister (that took a dog training camp) to cuddle with at night, a Mom that mixes special food for him, a Dad that runs with him and a Grandma to love.

From his Dad: "I really feel like we've hit a home run with him, and hopefully he feels the same."

Congratulations everyone, especially Luke, and thank you Stephanie (and family) for everything you did for this sweet boy!

Rocky has found his forever home!

Rocky was surrendered to a shelter because he didn’t hunt and he no doubt was abused so it’s taken a little while for his foster Mom to help him overcome his fear (especially of men). He now has a big family with 2 cat siblings, a Basset hound and a Maltipoo to play with as well as 2 small human siblings and an awesome Mom and Dad.

A huge thank you to Ruth at the Graves County Animal Shelter in KY who notified us about Rocky – and of course to Rocky’s foster Mom Allyson who worked diligently to find the perfect home for this sweet boy. Congratulations to Rocky and the Rael family!

Champ, now Moose, has found his forever home!

From his foster Mom Allison: “What a happy and sad night here. Champ has been adopted… I think Champ will do absolutely amazing with his new family. I’m going to miss my foster Champ(y) boy whose name will now be Moose.”

Thank you Allison for everything your family has done to prepare Champ for this day.

Congratulations to Moose and the Williams family!

Hanny aka Han Solo is Adopted

4/26/2019

Adopted Aril 2019

Hanny, aka Han Solo, has decided he likes his foster family so much that he wants to stay!

Hanny suffers from separation anxiety but his new family is home during the day and he has canine siblings to keep him company as well. He settled into their routine quite easily and they are doing a lot of positive reinforcement training so he's quite busy (and happy).

From his Mom: "He is doing fantastic and is the sweetest guy ever!" Thank you and congratulations to Hanny and the Phifer family! Happy Friday!

Ellie is Adopted

4/21/2019

Adopted April 2019

Ellie has found her forever home – just in time for Easter!

Ellie was found in Alabama, cold, very thin and afraid and a Good Samaritan found her owner but they didn’t want her anymore. Her days of rejection are over!

Thank you so much Sandra for taking such good care of this sweet girl and finding her perfect home. Congrats to Ellie and the Reece family!

Dottie is Adopted!

4/18/2019

Miss Dot has found her forever home!  She was one of the 6 dogs in NC that were dumped at a shelter because they failed at hunting.  Like her siblings, she was terrified when she entered rescue but she blossomed in her foster home and is anxious to start her new life.  From her foster Mom Robin:  "It has been wonderful seeing this scared, disconnected dog come to life, playing with toys, wanting to be pet, and actually crawling onto a lap for some love..."  Thank you Robin for everything she did to make this day possible.  Congratulation Dot and the Adams family!

Sam

4/1/2019

Adopted March 2019

Sam is now officially part of The McRae family. According to his new family, he’s living it up exploring his new back yard, has already “slithered” up onto the couch with his new mom, went to the park, spent some time at Lowe’s soaking up all of the attention from bystanders and has ended his weekend with a movie night amongst his two-legged siblings.

His foster Mom Jordan never had a doubt that this boy was going to make the best family dog. Thank you Jordan for nursing this boy through heartworm treatment and finding his perfect home!

Sassy

Adopted March 2019

Sassy has been adopted!! Allen, Julie and granddaughter Harper are excited to welcome Sassy to her forever home! It took a 500 mile drive to get Sassy to her new family, but she was excited. She's never been much of a tail wagger, but she went right up to Allen and Julie with her tail a wagging!

Welcome home Sassy.
