Roxie

7/27/2019

Another foster win!

Roxie, now called Baby (formerly Cleveland), has decided to stay with her foster family and is rather comfy in her new home LOL!

From her Mom Robin: “She has fit right in and reminds us of our girl we lost in January. We have fallen in love with her and want to keep her.”

Congratulations to Robin, Gene and Baby – it’s a very happy day!

Congrats Duke

7/15/2019

Duke of Alabama has found his forever home! And the Henninger family has found a wonderful boy!

They said "We plan on keeping his name Duke, but for 'formal' occasions, we will call him 'Duke Montgomery'. Haha!"

Thank you so much to his foster Mom Allison and her family.

From Allison: “Duke will be missed here but we know he has found the most wonderful family!”

 What a wonderful day!

Darla, now Lily, has found her forever home!  Beautiful Lily is giving her new Dad Robert a big hug!  She is so grateful to have such a wonderful new home with a lovely fenced yard, doggie door and lots of attention.  Thank you to her dedicated foster Mom Liz for helping Lily through her heartworm treatment (not an easy task).  Congrats to everyone – Lily is a real gem!

Tammy has found her forever home!

Tammy, now Pepper, has found her forever home! She will have a GSP sibling named Hudson and Indy a cat (they were camera shy). Hudson already has a ton of doggie friends he meets up with for walks and play dates so Pepper is looking forward to making new friends. Her new family is active and enjoys running and being outdoors including yearly beach trips. She has a nice yard to chase critters and her human brothers are animal lovers so she’ll get to sleep with them every night. A huge thank you to Pepper’s foster Mom Heather who helped her along the way and congratulations to the Hutchinson family!

Dottie has found her forever home!

Our Georgia Dottie has found her forever home! Dottie has been in foster care for the last 4 months while she underwent heartworm treatment, but today she went to her forever home with the Tovey family. She’ll have lots of land to chase squirrels and birds, and have all the attention she could ever want from folks who have been raising GSPs for 50 years. There were smiles all around today! A huge thank you to her foster Mom Kim and congratulations to Dottie and her new family!

Talbot is Adopted!!

7/1/2019

After a long search, Talbot has chosen his forever home! Katie and Anthony Blount recently lost their GSP (also a SEGSP Rescue alumnus) to cancer, and they’re ready to take on a bit of adorable mayhem to help fill that enormous void. Talbot says, “Challenge accepted!” No doubt this sweet, special boy with the cutest little howl (“Roooooo!”) will be spoiled and loved beyond measure. Congratulations, little dude, on your next big (forever!) adventure! Thank you Cathy for fostering him and Asher for coordinating the adoption.
