Victoria

9/29/2019

Victoria in NC has found her forever home!  She traveled to her new home in Florida with her foster family.  A long trip, but lots of backseat cuddling made the trip go by faster.  From her foster Mom Julie:  "She did really well, was playing with her new doggie sister and got busy pointing lizards and watching the pond in her new yard!  She will be so loved and have a perfect GSP life! Victoria was a pure joy to foster!  Thank-you for letting us love on her for a little while.   We will miss her!"

Thank you to the Decoskey family for fostering (and delivering) Victoria.  And congratulations to the Gibson family, and of course Victoria – it's a happy day!

Rosa, now Ivy Rose, has found her forever home! She will have a one-year-old GSP brother Griffin to play with and very parents that run, bike, go for long walks and hike mountains. And of course she will be loved, cuddled and kissed forever. What more could a puppy want? A huge thank you to Rosa’s foster Mom Taylor for taking such good care of Rosa and reviewing the MANY applications for Rosa – it was quite a job. Congratulations to the Kinch family!

Moose

9/25/2019

It's no surprise that it didn't take Moose long to find his forever family – and just in time to be the ring bearer at his new parents' wedding next week!  His foster Mom Paolina received sooo many applications from some truly amazing families.  The Hopkins family had been checking our website several times a day anxiously waiting for Moose to be listed for adoption. Within minutes of his post being shared, they emailed his foster Mom with the most heartwarming description of why they wanted to adopt Moose and what his life would be like living with them.  After reading the Hopkin's application and a few phone calls to them to learn more, Paolina did not need to look any further – she found Moose's forever home.  Thank you Paolina for taking on a puppy foster (not an easy task) and Congratulations to Moose and the Hopkins family!

Clifford

9/23/2019

Clifford, now Cletus, has found his family! We had so many wonderful families apply to adopt this adorable boy. His foster parents Macayle and Jon met with Mary, Donald and their dog Daisy yesterday and Clifford and Daisy hit it off – lots of running around and hunting lizards together. Clifford let everyone know this was the right family. Thank you Macayle and Jon for fostering Clifford – you did an awesome job preparing Clifford for this day.

They are lovely people, really understand the GSP breed, and they love all of Willie's quirks. Their dog Haunts got along great with Willie. They are going to give Willie, soon to be Mosel, a very loving and happy home!"  Thank you Allie for fostering Mosel and congratulations to the Reigle family!

Our sweet senior Bella has found her forever family!  Bella has had a rough time finding the perfect family so we are super excited for her.  Bella is thrilled that she has a young human sister that loves her and a Yorkie canine sibling who has accepted Bella and embraced her as part of the family.  A huge thank you to Bella’s adoption coordinators Suzann and Joe for their very dedicated search for her family!  Congratulations Bella and the Taylor family!

Dottie

9/17/2019

Dottie (aka T-Dot) has found her forever family!  We could not be happier for this girl who at such a young age had her leg amputated to take away the pain from a prior injury that did not heal properly.  From her awesome foster Mom Debbie:

“Dottie is so happy to be with her forever family! Dottie and Piper instantly played together and chased each other and it seemed like they were already sisters! Thank you to Alannah and Corey for so enthusiastically falling in love with her and giving her a great life! Hooray for Dottie!  When both dogs were leashed and ready to go home, Alannah turned to Corey and smiled and said, “We’re a family of four now!” My heart is warmed.”

Congratulations everyone and thank you Debbie for making this day happen for Dottie and taking Dottie to the many vet appointments!

Toby

9/12/2019

Toby has found his home right where he is with his foster (now forever) Mom Gabrielle!  Toby’s adoption was almost certain from the first day in rescue but his foster (now forever) canine sibling Stef, had a health emergency and the happy news was delayed (we’re so glad Stef has fully recovered).  Toby shares his forever home with 2015 Alum Dash (now 12) and Stef and word has it they are super happy with Mom’s decision. Congrats to Toby and the Darcy family!

We couldn't be happier for this sweet guy, Oatmeal and his new forever family!

Bernie

9/8/2019

Bernie, now Lemmy, has found his forever home! His new human siblings had no clue he was joining their family. His new Mom Emily said: “We made it home yesterday, and Lemmy is settling in nicely! He LOVES the horses and farm dog that live behind us, and our kids are showering him with lots of love and attention. You can tell he’s been very loved, and I think he’s missing Virginia and Aaron. But hopefully he’ll feel at home here soon. Thank you all so much for getting us in order to bring Lemmy home, and THANK YOU, Virginia (and Aaron), for being such incredible foster parents and getting this sweet boy so comfortable and ready to fly the nest!”

hank you Virginia and Aaron for fostering Bernie through months of heartworm treatment and making so very sure he found just the right forever home! As you can see the “Bernie” surprise was a wonderful success – congrats everyone!

Hank

Hank has a new home!

From his foster Mom Liz: “They spent over 2 hours at my house and I knew immediately knew they were the ones! I was inside when they pulled up in my driveway & saw Allison’s face when she got out of the car— she started crying & Drew had the biggest smile on his face when Hank met them at the fence. It was absolutely meant to be.”

Thank you Liz for finding the perfect home for Hank.
