Bud has found his forever home! Bud came to rescue not knowing anything other than kennel life. He was not neutered, had 2 masses on his chest and was heartworm positive. He has since been neutered, had the masses removed and completed 4 months of heartworm treatment. It’s been a long, but a very successful journey for Bud.
His foster mom Jennifer said, “What a bittersweet day! It’s hard to be sad about it though since we know Bud’s new family is going to love him immensely and provide him a great home! We were so amazed at how well he handled his new environment. He was ready! What a different dog he is today from when we picked him up almost 4 months ago at Kanupp Kennels. Our first foster experience was a wild ride and I’d be lying if I thought for a time or two that we may have bitten off more than we could chew. It was all totally worth it though! To know that my family helped Bud discover what life as a dog should be and to find him a perfectly matched home is a great way to start the new year! Much love to Bud, Jim, Ann, and Chloe as they start their new journey together.”
Congrats everyone – what an awesome way to start 2024!
