Hanz

Hanz is home!  Hanz, who was fostered in TN and NC, has chosen his forever home with the Giers family.   And he’s feeling right at home after his first night there.

From his dad, Jim, “My wife and I are in our 60s and we're active, but a younger dog would have more energy than we wanted to handle, so we looked for one with a few miles on him, like us. When Hanz came up, he seemed like the perfect fit.  When we met him, I called his name and he came right to me and acted like we were already friends. When the trainer said that he doesn't warm up to most people right off the bat, that sealed the deal. He's only been with us for less than 24hrs and he seems perfectly at home. We may have to change his name to Hunter because that's what he seems to love to do.  I think the three of us will have a great time growing old together.”

We think so, too.  We are thrilled for Hanz and for you both.  A special thank you to Kanupp Kennels for all the training they gave Hanz.  What a happy ending!
