Maggie

Very sad news…our alumna Maggie has passed away.  Her dad Kurt said she had a neurological issue that caused her to deteriorate quickly.  He said she beat cancer and a liver issue in the last few months and still lived life to its fullest.  From Kurt, “She's lived at the lake, the river, a 5-star hotel for a year, and the beach for the past 5 years. She has spent more time cruising in exotic cars than most will ever see in their life. Since February 2, 2017 she has been by my side showing me what unconditional love is. I knew what I signed up for when adopting a senior but it certainly doesn't make this any easier.” 

Maggie came to rescue in 2016 after her owner turned her into a shelter. She was 8 years old with heartworms.  But her life with Kurt turned her bad luck around and she never looked back. What a fabulous life she had with her dad! Maggie left this world knowing she was loved and cherished.
