Dottie

​We said goodbye to our 2019 alumna Dottie last week.  Her family said she had a good life full of treats and sofa snoozes. 
 
Dottie came to rescue in early 2019 sick with heartworms. Her foster home with the Burgett family gave Dottie the love and care she needed to heal, adjust to a normal life and prepare for her wonderful forever home with the Tovey family.  The Toveys gave Dottie even more love and adventures and we were so sad when they notified us of Dottie’s passing.  Heather said, “Thank you so much for sharing her photos and helping us celebrate our time with her and thanks for helping GSPs across the southeast find homes!”
