In Memory of

our beloved GSPs

"Our animal friends teach us more than we could have expected and love us more than we could have hoped.  That's why we miss them more than we could have imagined."

Doc
2008-2019

Our sweet old 2018 Alumnus Doc has passed away at age 11+ after a battle with pancreatitis.  He entered rescue from a GA Animal Control in February 2018 and recovered from e-coli.  We don’t know how the first 11+ years of his life was like, but his first foster Mom Suzanne called him  "Doctor" to boost his confidence.  He was adopted by his next foster Mom Denise who tragically was killed at the end of 2018.  He finally arrived at his new forever home in FL with Kathy and Jlaw in late January.  Doc had been through a LOT of challenges while in rescue but as our FL State Coordinator Dorothy said “Kathy, your old guys must think they've gone to heaven, living there!”  Yes, he lived the last months of his life in heaven on earth. Thank you Kathy and Jlaw for giving this boy the love he deserved.  He definitely left this world happy and loved.  Run free sweet Doc…
