With heavy hearts we say farewell to our 2011 Alumna Polly.   She was fostered by Krista, then our founder Beth Cochran for heartworm treatment, then Tiffany.  They all called her Polly Prissy Pants because she was so dainty.  Her parents Warren and Eunice traveled to Atlanta to meet Polly on June 18th, 2011 and fell in love.  Her Mom said Polly was a sweet, kind soul without a mean bone in her body - she loved everyone. Polly had an intense fear of thunder, lightning and heavy rain and the only thing that consoled her was her family’s love. Therefore they never left her alone when it rained.  Eunice and Warren dedicated their life to making her feel happy and loved and we’re sure Polly had the same dedication and love for them.  We know they are devastated by her passing and we wish we could take their pain away. She will be missed greatly.
