Happy New Year to everyone! We hope the holidays created wonderful and lasting memories for you and yours. ChickFrom her mom Cindy, an update on Chick: "Chick saw oncologist today. No sign of metastasis, ultrasound says lungs spleen heart all clear. Just have to stay out of sun and check for more bumps, 70% probability of the spots recurring but they can be removed with surgery or cryo so we have to be diligent about checking for them! Keep your light skinned pointers from sunbathing and check their bellies and inside of limbs for blood blister like bumps that are solar/suv induced! Yeah! Good news. Back in 6 months for follow up. Also advised to give her fish oil to prevent!" CaptainHere is a super cute photo of Captain celebrating the holidays with his portion of the turkey! haha. Thanks for the laugh Captain. One of our resolutions this year is to beef up this blog a bit, but we cannot do it without YOU! Please send us your updates, photos, funny videos... whatever you would like to share! Thank you for a wonderful 2022 and cheers to an even better 2023.

It is time for more alumni TAILS to celebrate Sunday Alum Day here at SEGSP Rescue. It's been a little bit since we had alumni updates, but we have some great ones for you to check out today! Gator '22Gator '22 (by dad) has a new family & sister Delta to be thankful for this year. I hear it took lots of squeaks of his ball & treats to get him to pose. His mom Hannah says he been busy learning his new house this week. Bobby G '22Bobby G (formerly Glen, one of the 10 puppies adopted earlier this year) has had one barn hunt lesson and now he thinks he's an expert! What his expertise consists of at the moment is destroying his mommy's hay room! Izzy '22Izzy (adopted in June 2022) has been doing fabulous and is settling into her forever home so well! She found out that she can be the boss of her little brother Crash, but he doesn't mind! They play, snuggle, chew on sticks, and bark for extra treats together! As you can see, she also thoroughly enjoyed the cucumber garden this summer, and the pumpkin garden, and the tomato garden.....she is a healthy dog with all these vegetables she is sneaking! We love having Iz in our family and could not be more grateful! She brings so much joy to our lives and we could not imagine not having her! Thank you to everyone at SEGSP for all you do! Murray '22Murray Update from his Dad Daryl: He's doing great! He loves napping by the fireplace and running around in the woods! Training is going well. Girls love him and he's particularly attached to Sarah (his Mom)! Two adorable photos are included. He waits for Sarah to return when she leaves. As you can see in the one picture. From running as a stray in Walterboro to living the good life with an awesome family. |
