And away he goes!! Scout, fostered in FL, is on his way to his forever home in NC!  A huge thank you to the many volunteers who are transporting Scout to his new home:  Samantha and Moose, Debbie, Allie, Alisha (who will keep him overnight), Tricia and the transport coordinator Sarah!  It sometimes takes a village and we're sure if Scout could speak he would be thanking everyone as well.  From his foster mom Samantha:  "Scout has been a great foster dog and we are excited to see him begin his journey to Renee!! Thanks everyone!"

Daisy Mae has found her forever home!  From her new Dad: “She is a very good dog with an excellent disposition, and she’s a pretty good listener (most of the time).”  LOL!

A special thank you to her series of temp foster parents:  Mary, Olivia, Andrea & Ty, as well as her foster parents Andres and Yami for helping Daisy Mae through her heartworm treatment. Thank you also to Lori for finding Daisy Mae’s forever home. Congratulations Daisy Mae and the Falkenberg family.

Camden is home!

He is now with his new Dad and Camden was so thrilled to be near the water that he ran right in for a swim! His foster Mom Vicky said she is so excited that Camden is going to have all the things he likes to do right out his back door. In fact, he is going on a boat ride this afternoon! Lucky Camden :-) Thank you Vicky – you have given Camden the perfect forever home!

Congratulations to Camden and Mike – a perfect match!

Jep has found his forever home!

This sweet boy was surrendered to a shelter because his owner had cancer and could no longer care for him. But his foster mom Liz said he has such a great life ahead of him… Thank you Liz for finding Jep’s match made in heaven. Both of Jep’s new parents are vets and he’ll have a 9 year old GSP and 11 year old Jack Russell sibling to play with.

Congratulations Jep, Chara and Charles! What a great way to end the week!

Missy, now Tui, has found her forever home with the Howell family!

Her foster mom Sarah said the Howells are perfect for this little girl. Missy came to rescue as a stray, extremely thin, sick, never lived indoors or been loved and was no doubt confused. Her foster parents, Sarah and John, did an amazing job with her – thank you! It’s a happy day!

Well, Frank officially went to his new mom today!

Frank and his foster mom Alicia had an adventure going from Tallahassee to Dothan, playing at the dog park, and then it was time to head to his new home in Auburn. Over 30 people had inquired and/or filled out applications about this sweet baby. However, not many were experienced with escape artist GSPs. When the Edwards family contacted Frank’s foster mom, Alicia, she knew immediately this was the right family for him.... they had a GSP that unfortunately passed away but was an escape artist, too.

Sometimes it takes months to find the perfect home, but Frank will have the best life! He has a doggy brother named Moose to play with nonstop, and a mom, dad and grandma that already love him to death.

Good boy, Frank.
