Asher (now Stew) and Dexter (now Tripp) a bonded pair, have found their forever home – together – and are now official members of the Fangusaro family! Stew and Tripp's new family lost their GSP to cancer 3 months ago and are so excited to adopt these boys. They are now their only "kids" and will undoubtedly be spoiled rotten :)

What a great journey for these two whose "before" pictures are atrocious. A huge thank you to Ali for agreeing to take on TWO young boys who were not neutered and lived outside on a chain their entire lives! She transformed them and prepared them for their forever home – side-by-side. It’s a very happy day! Congrats everyone!

Tonka has found his forever family!

Daniel and Alecia, and fur-baby Tucker welcomed Tonka into their family. Tonka is loving his new mom, dad and fur-brother Tucker! He and Tucker are getting along great and love playing together.

Daniel said Tonka is a big goof ball and won’t stay still long for a picture and that he will go from asleep to 100 MPH. 😊 A special thank you to Nadine and Tyler for fostering Tonka and finding his forever home. On his way to his forever home Tonka had an overnight with our AL/MS Volunteer Coordinator Cindy, then our new AL volunteer David took Tonka from Birmingham to Atlanta where Tonka met up with his new family and drove the rest of the way home to NC.

Thank you everyone! It was a very long weekend but a very happy one. Congrats to Tonka and his new family!

Georgia's Precious has found her forever family!

Precious was slated for euthanasia in a Georgia shelter, was heartworm positive and has been in rescue since June of last year so we are super excited for her.

Thank you Susie for fostering Precious, nurturing her through her heartworm treatment, finding her the forever home that she deserves - and for driving her ALL the way to Greensboro, NC from south Georgia!

Congratulations Precious and the Beard family!

It was a happy weekend for Georgia's sweet little Yang.  From a scared 6 week old puppy who was rescued from a storm drain to a happy little girl with a new, loving forever home.  Yang's foster Mom, Bethany, sent a picture of Yang with a sign around her neck asking Miriam and Avi if they would be her forever home and Bethany reports that they said Yes!!!  Yang has a new name that fits her perfectly - Frankie Bean :)
