If little Crisco's face doesn't say it all -- she is thrilled to be in her happy forever home with Melanie and Jim! Huge thanks to volunteers Danny and Emily for fostering Crisco and doing all of her associated transports and home checks. We are so happy for this sweet girl! Congrats everyone!

Albert, now Blue, has VERY important news to share. 1) He is DONE with his heartworm treatment, 2) He is most definitely going to be a “Foster Fail” and 3) He couldn’t be happier.  Missy, his foster-now-forever mom, said having him for so long (4 months of heartworm treatment), he has become one of their pack and they don’t want to lose him.  YAAY – congratulations to Blue, Missy and his canine siblings!

Tori

Sweet Tori had a meet-and-greet yesterday that turned into a meet-and-adopt!  The Ruifrock family fell in love with Tori, and vice versa, although we know she’s going to be daddy’s girl more than anything else LOL.

Tori has had some challenges when she arrived in rescue like trauma to her eye that had been untreated, she was malnourished, needed to be spayed and was heartworm positive.  Her blind eye doesn’t phase her and she went through 4 months of heartworm treatment and gained some needed weight. But it was all worth it because she is now with her forever, FOREVER home.

Congratulations Tori and the Ruifrock family!

Tyler has found his forever home and is officially named Bo Elvis Hemmerly!  We are so thankful that his foster family did such an amazing job searching for his home and taking care of him in the meantime – thank you Amanda and Frank.  They are sad to see this handsome guy leave their home, but they know he’s going to have a wonderful life with the Hemmerly family.  Congratulations!

Connor has found his forever home and we think he’s going to be so happy with the Thomas's!! On his meet and greet, he got to play in their pool and it was clear he decided that he was home! We’re so thankful to his foster mom Jill for going through tons of very qualified applicants for Connor. She said it was a tough choice!  Congratulations Connor and the Thomas family!

Lily (aka Lilly Legs) has found her forever home!  And she found an experienced GSP family for sure – this makes the Fedder family’s third SEGSP adoption including 2015 Alumnus Duke (formerly Titan) who passed away last year, and 2019 alumnus Lefty (formerly Buddy).  Lily’s foster mom Cathy made a very good choice and we know it was difficult with so many great applicants. Thank you Cathy for everything you’ve done for Lily. And congratulations to the Fedder family!

Fyvel (formerly Ernest) has decided to stay with his foster home – FOREVER!  This sweet boy came to rescue as a stray and his foster family worked on his doggy manners and skin issues and it didn’t take long for them to fall in love.  Congratulations to Fyvel and the Gillette family!

Fritz (GA) completed his heartworm treatment and in the 4 months it took, he wiggled his cute way into his foster family’s heart – yup, they are adopting him!  We know it’s difficult to have such a cute GSP in your home for four months and not fall in love. Congratulations to Fritz and the Lacy family!

Fritz (SC) has found his forever home!  Thank you to his foster dad Darrin for going through so many applications to determine the best fit for Fritz.  Darrin says his new family is a perfect fit for Fritz and he couldn’t be happier on the decision.  It was bittersweet for him, but receiving happy updates will help.  Congratulations to Fritz and the Mulvaney family (including Fritz’s new canine sister Seneca) – it’s a happy day!
