Sweet Gunner from FL has finally found his forever home! YAY Gunner! This boy has had a tough time adjusting to this very scary big world, but with the help of his foster family, he blossomed and although still frightened of new things, he’s come a very long way. Congratulations to Gunner and the Denise family and a big thank you to his foster mom Linda!

Dixie, in SC, and her foster family have joined the “Foster Fail” club! From her foster-turned-forever mom: She is such a sweet girl. She gets along so well with Boo (16 year old GSP) & Lilly (6 year old Shitzu). They really are quite a crew.
Congratulations to Dixie and the Buckendahl family! What a great way to begin the week and end the year Max in GA (on right) had a proposition from his foster family. They said…we may not be able to give you the biggest house, but we promise to love you the biggest and best we can. Max didn’t hesitate with his YES! His GSP siblings are super happy too (although one was camera shy). Congratulations to the Futch family, including Max, Mandy, Jake, Turkey, Pig and Trip!
Fritz in SC has found his forever home with the Fabrey family! From his foster dad Darrin: It was so bittersweet to watch him go but we know he is in good hands. He has grown so much while we fostered him and will continue to grow. They will be keeping his name, they once had a Fritz before. We enjoyed the opportunity to help. Thank y’all for helping along the way.
Thank you Darrin for everything you’ve done for Fritz, i.e. the river trips, golf cart rides and allowing him to run, run, run - but most of all for finding his forever family. Fritz is a very lucky boy. Congrats to Fritz and the Fabrey family! Max has a forever home for the holidays! He's got a yard to play in and a human brother who has very good manners with dogs and we're sure he's going to be loved and spoiled! You can see he's already making himself right at home :).
Congrats to Max and the Roberto family! A very happy message from Dirk, now Tag’s family:
“It truly has been an honor to foster Tag and help him get healthy. Tag came into our home just three weeks after our last GSP passed away. It was fast but it felt meant to be. Our family has fallen in love with Tag and we cannot imagine our lives without him! He’s the sweetest, most loving dog we’ve ever had and we are ecstatic to become Tag’s forever family. We continue to be impressed by SEGSP Rescue. It’s such a great organization with passionate volunteers. We definitely will continue to support this group and help however we can. Thank you! Merritt” Congratulations Tag, Merritt and David! Fischer, foster brother to Rio, had a special Christmas wish. He wrote a letter to Santa asking for a little brother. Santa talked it over with Rio’s foster parents, and then delivered this special present a little bit early. Looks like Fischer is getting exactly what he wanted because Rio is staying for good! And his new family, The Walls, couldn’t be happier!
Rio’s new dad says that Rio and Fischer were friends in just a few short hours which was HUGE to them. Even though he’s still a puppy, he’s an old soul, super sweet, gentle, and has a tail wag for everyone he meets. They knew within the first day that he was doomed to be a failed adoption! And there’s one more small announcement, Rio will now be named Jasper, or Jazz, for short. ️ Congratulations all around! We just love good news. |
