Cricket

Cricket, who previously lived her life outside in a kennel, has come a long way in a very short time with her two foster families.   And she’s settled in so well that we are excited to say that we have another Foster WIN to announce, because her new dad has decided that she’s just gonna stay put where she is.  She now has a furever sister, too, Gracie, also a GSP.

When asked what made her dad know that she was family, he said, “She’s a wonderful and loving dog and great companion to my Gracie. She helps motivate me to get up and exercise each morning and they both put a smile on my face.  She gets so excited about our golf cart rides. She and Gracie have bonded better than I could have expected. Great match.“

Cricket goes on long walks (on and off leash daily), rides in the golf cart twice a day, and lives on a lake where they go out on the pontoon boat.  Her dad has been known to share his sausage and biscuit and his lunch meat with his girls and he hand feeds them a small ice cream treat each night. It’s clear to us that Cricket is right where she belongs and we are so grateful to Randy and Gracie for working so hard with her and for loving her and making her family, and also to the Murphy family for fostering her first and helping her so much!  We just love a happy ending!
