Our sweet senior gal Ginger has some happy news – 1) her heartworm test (after 4+ months of treatment) is NEGATIVE, and 2) she is HOME! She’s staying right where she is with her foster family, the Turners.
Ginger has been through so much since being rescued 7 months ago: heartworm treatment, surgery to remove two mammary tumors and a growth on her eyelid and repair of a hernia. She was found on the streets in SC with horrible skin issues and very few teeth and was estimated to be older than 10. Ginger, we don’t know what happened to you before rescue or if you’d ever experienced love, but we know without doubt that for the rest of your life you will be loved and cherished – our goal for every GSP!
From her new mom: “She is the most beautiful and loving GSP. It is a joy to have her in our lives.” Thank you Donna and Pat and congratulations!
