Rooster’s foster family, the Fredericks, have decided their family is growing by four paws—Rooster has officially joined the family!  We saw this coming in their first family pic.

From Rooster’s family, “We have wanted a GSP for a while now. Both my husband and I grew up with them and loved how loyal they are. We found the SEGSP rescue and knew this was the best place to find our next rescue dog. We applied for a pup and made it to the finals, but she went to a family that was a better fit. Then, we were asked to foster Nala and agreed. She was a wonderful, loving girl and it was so rewarding helping her find her perfect family. When we got the call asking if we would foster Rooster, we quickly agreed. It was pretty clear, even on that first ride home, that he was going to be hard to part with. Every week, our family fell more in love with him. Even the cat has come around tolerating him!  He loves to explore the outdoors and come snuggle up in the evenings, which is just like us! We are so excited to become Rooster’s forever family and grateful to SEGSP for filling our house with puppy love and mischief.”

Rooster, it sounds like you’ve found the perfect spot.  We couldn’t be happier for you and your family.  Thank you so much to the Fredericks for being such awesome volunteers for SEGSP Rescue.  We are so grateful for you!
