Maggie (formerly Blair)

​Some photos SCREAM of happiness and we LOVE this one!    Maggie (formerly Blair) has truly found her forever home with her new mom Sophie.  Maggie is smiling not only because she found an amazing forever mom, but she also has a wonderful forever grandmother who has a farm she can explore.
 
In August of 2022 our GA volunteers pulled Maggie from a shelter on VERY short notice and kept her from being euthanized the same day. She no doubt had a rough life and came to rescue battling intestinal worms, heartworms, and a skin condition. Based on her worn-down front teeth we believe she may have spent years confined to a cage, persistently trying to break free. We estimate her age at about 10 years old, and she has had multiple litters.

But that life is now behind her and she is SUPER happy and looking forward to a life of love and adventures.  Thank you to her awesome foster mom Holly for helping Maggie along her journey.
