Scarlett

After evaluating lots of amazing families, Scarlett has picked her forever home with the Shelleys!  She has also picked a new name, Maggie!  
 
The family lost their sweet Bella in March, and Winston, their Weimaraner, had been missing a friend.  They had been following the rescue’s page and when Scarlett was ready to start searching for her forever home, they decided to apply.  And they were selected.  Once they heard the good news, they said, “We are honored to be chosen! We cannot wait to be part of the GSP community!” They now plan to become volunteers with SEGSP and we are happy to have them! 
 
Maggie has already gone for her first swim, enjoys hanging out on the back porch with the family and is going on lots of pack walks to bond with Winston while he continues to get used to having a puppy around.  
 
Congratulations to the Shelley family and thank you so much to Laura, who fostered Scarlett, a big feat with a puppy, and for helping prepare her for this next step.  We couldn’t do what we do without our foster families.
